Chaenomeles Or Quince

Are grown for their beautiful flowers that appear early in the season. Often followed by edible fruits in autumn.

Where To Site Your Quince

If left alone these can grow against a wall / fence or they do make a lovely stand alone shrub. As these are thorny shrubs you don't want to plant them near footpaths.

How To Grow Your Quince

They should be grown in well drained soil in full or partial sun.

Feed once a year in spring with a good granular feed

After flowering they can be trimmed back to younger, stronger stems
