Our Cheshire Nursery

Grasslands Nursery is nestled in the Knutsford countryside and encompasses over 30 acres of land - ample space to grow the thousands of plants we have on offer, from the largest Laurel to the littlest pot of lavender.

PRODUCTION

Expertly grown and cared for by our team of horticulturalists

Our nursery is monitored and cared for by our expert horticulturalists, as well as lots of other staff including labourers, sales assistants and delivery drivers. Our horticulturalists will oversee the care of our plants from start to finish, using their expertise to ensure happy, healthy plants ready for sale.

With so much space on our hands, our horticulturalists are able to choose the perfect spot to grow our plants, whether that’s exposed to the elements or tucked away in one of our polytunnels. They will then continue to monitor our plants progress, ensuring they’re receiving the right amounts of sunlight, nutrition and water. When the time comes to sell the plants, they will help to pick and pack them, so that the plants arrive in perfect condition.

And don’t forget, our nursery is open to the public, so you can pop down and see for yourself!

Snowdrop Café at Grasslands Nursery

At the heart of Grasslands Nursery you’ll find Snowdrop Café, our welcoming onsite café and the perfect place to pause during your visit. The café serves freshly prepared breakfasts, lunches and homemade cakes, all made in-house using high-quality ingredients and locally sourced Cheshire produce wherever possible. With great coffee, takeaway options, and a modern children’s play area just outside, Snowdrop Café is ideal for families, friends and anyone looking to relax and enjoy good food as part of a day out at the nursery.
