The Apple Braeburn Patio Fruit Tree is a compact, space-saving version of the well-loved Braeburn apple, known for its crisp texture and balanced sweet-tart flavour. Ideal for small gardens, patios, or container planting, this tree allows you to enjoy the high-quality Braeburn apples even in limited spaces.

Key Characteristics:

  • Size: This dwarf variety is perfect for patios, balconies, and small gardens. Its manageable size ensures easy care and harvesting, while still producing an excellent yield.
  • Fruit: The apples are medium to large-sized with red and green skin. The flesh is firm, juicy, and crisp, with a refreshing blend of sweetness and tanginess. Braeburn apples are perfect for fresh eating, cooking, and juicing due to their excellent texture and flavour.
  • Harvest Time: Typically harvested in October, Braeburn apples store well, often lasting several months in cool storage, making them ideal for use throughout the winter.
  • Self-Fertility: Partially self-fertile, Braeburn benefits from cross-pollination with other apple varieties such as Golden Delicious, Gala, or Granny Smith to increase fruit yield.

Growing Conditions:

  • Soil: Thrives in well-drained, fertile soil. While it can adapt to various soil types, loamy, rich soils are best for optimal growth.
  • Light: Requires full sun to develop the best fruit flavour and ripeness.
  • Watering: Regular watering is crucial, particularly for container-grown trees, as pots tend to dry out faster than ground-planted trees.
