Persicaria or Himalayan Fleece flower

Are creeping ground cover perennials that cover the ground with lance pretty green foliage. In late summer a mass of flower candles erupts over the entire surface and last all through until Jack Frost burns them off for the season.

How to Grow and Look after Your Persicaria

Plant in any moist well drained soil in full sun or partial shade. They flower best in a sunny position.  Some of the low growing varieties will tolerate dry situations, while most taller types prefer moist conditions. They can be divided in early autumn or late winter
