Apple Bramley Patio Fruit trees are a compact, dwarf variety of the traditional Bramley apple, designed specifically for smaller gardens, patios, or even container growing. Known for producing the famous Bramley apples, these trees are ideal for those looking to grow their own cooking apples in limited spaces.

Key Characteristics:

  • Size: This patio variety is specially bred to be much smaller than full-sized Bramley apple trees. Making it ideal for patios, small gardens, or pots.
  • Fruit: Produces large, green apples with a slight red blush when exposed to sunlight. These apples are renowned for their sharp, tart flavour, making them perfect for cooking, baking, and preserving.
  • Harvest Time: Apples are usually ready for harvest in late September to October. The fruit stores well and is often used throughout the winter months.
  • Self-Sterility: Bramley apples are not self-fertile, so they will require another 2 apple variety, such as Cox’s Orange Pippin, Granny Smith, or Gala, nearby for cross-pollination to produce fruit.
