Berberis or Barberries are deciduous, mound forming shrubs. They have bright attractive foliage and bear small red to yellow berries in Autumn.Berberis have plenty of thorns so are commonly used as a security hedge. Barberry shrubs range in size from dwarf species suitable for rock gardens to larger specimens which are ideal for a shrub border. They are very easy to grow and maintain and respond very well to being trimmed.

Berberis should be trimmed after flowering to maintain a neat shape. They are fully hardy shrubs which grow well in most well-drained soils. Compact, evergreen, arching shrub.

Berberis Red Chief are small deciduous, columnar, shrubs. Deep red foliage emerges in spring, lightened with white mottling, especially on the younger growth. At a distance, this gives a rosy effect to the foliage. Tiny yellow flowers in mid spring are followed by red fruits in the autumn. Height reaches over 100cm.

How long does delivery take?

Where will you leave my plants?

We will leave your order at the front of your property, Parcelforce may

will require a flat hard surface to deliver to, no gravel or soil, a
driveway or parking spot would be best. Most importantly Deliveries by
pallet courier will require access for a large truck (bin lorry sized)
to get near the delivery point. Deliveries sent on our own transport may come in a small van or larger truck.
