How to Grow and Care for Your Epimedium ‘Rubrum’
Soil – Prefers well-drained, humus-rich, slightly acidic soil but can tolerate drier conditions once established.

Maintenance:
- Cut Back in Late Winter – Trim back old foliage to make way for fresh spring growth and flowers.
- Mulch Annually – Mulch with organic matter to retain moisture and add nutrients to the soil.
- Divide Every Few Years – If plants become too large, divide them in early spring to maintain vigour and expand your ground cover.
Perfect Plant Combinations
