Liriope

Liriope or Lilyturf

 Unusual perennials that they look like grasses but flower like perennials. They flower from mid-summer into the winter.

 They spread by underground shoots and pop up a few inches away with a new plant.

 There are some nice interesting variegated forms that will double the attraction.

 They make interesting additions to a border used often as ground cover and look very smart drooping over an edging or wall.
