How to Grow your Indian Beam Tree

Plant them in moist well drained soil in a sunny position, they can tolerate heavy clay. 

They will need shelter from strong winds as it may shred the large leaves

Catalpa's are hungry trees and do need mulching over and additional granular feeding.
